If you ever need to unlink your Norby & Instagram accounts, you can do that by following these steps in your Norby account.
Before you disconnect your Norby & Instagram accounts, please keep the following in mind:
- when an account is unlinked, Instagram and Facebook permissions are revoked.
- if an Instagram account is shared across more than one Norby account, the disconnection will only be valid for the Norby account where the disconnection is generated from.
- you have the option to disconnect your accounts without deleting the data.
If you would like to disconnect your account & keep existing data:
- go to the Instagram section of the Integrations page & select Disconnect.
- keep the toggle to delete all data turned off and existing data will remain as is.
If you would like to disconnect your account & delete all data:
- go to the Instagram section of the Integrations page & select Disconnect.
- turn on the toggle to delete all data and all existing data will be removed.
- this includes the following data points:
- all historical messages will be deleted.
- existing contacts are updated to remove Instagram specific details.
- contacts that only had Instagram handle information will be deleted.
- this includes the following data points:
Should you decide to reconnect your Norby & Instagram accounts down the road:
- message data & analytics info will populate retroactively.
- all Instagram contacts will be created as new contacts.
- this means even if a contact existed previously, a new record is created.
